Bagua Feng Shui Zones – How to use in your apartment

Feng Shui is a two thousand year old Chinese practice for creating harmony in your life based on the laws of nature. Despite its age, Feng Shui remains popular to this day all over the world. In feng shui a room is divided into different zones which have an impact on one’s general course of life. To map out these zones, you need to create a Bagua map.

What is a Bagua map?

Although this unfamiliar phrase sounds a bit strange, there is nothing to be afraid of. A Bagua map is an octagon divided into 8 different areas. The name itself comes from two Chinese words: “ba” – eight, “gua” – trigram. Each side of the octagon represents north, south, east, and west as well as NE, NW, SE and SW.
How does it work? Very simple: you just need to impose a Bagua map over the layout of your home.

w is the time to improve the zone that you need most at the moment. Why should you activate only one zone at the start? Because the great Feng Shui philosophy tells us that making improvements in more than one area at a time will disrupt the flow of the beneficial energy of chi. This may create chaos and have the opposite effect. Therefore, you should do everything gradually at a relaxed pace.
